With this in mind the paper tries to bring forth some realisations with reference to treatment and care which might play a significant role in understanding why, bio-medical treatment and care being made available to the population has not found whole hearted acceptance as yet. This paper utilises a few case-studies to highlight some issues with respect to trucker's social life which point towards the fact that creating a holistic approach to influencing this population will require an in-depth understanding of the population with reference to its fears, apprehensions, medical preferences, social understanding and support system.
