Yet few attempts have been made to explore the impact or existence of J acobitism in the B ritish A tlantic world. This article locates and examines the presence of J acobitism in the religious controversies and transatlantic print culture of colonial New E ngland from 1702 to 1727 and draws tentative conclusions about the existence and significance of J acobitism in the B ritish A tlantic.
