The largest flowers in the world, Rafflesia arnoldii, span several feet while flowers of the genus Wolffia are microscopic. My own particular interest in flower size started when I overexpressed the Arabidopsis gene AINTEGUMENTA (ANT) and observed a larger flower phenotype |
