Configurational assignment of seven synthesized N-arylsulfonylimines of alpha-polychloroaldehydes has been carried out by means of experimental measurements and high-level ab initio calculations of their (13)C--(13)C, (13)C--(1)H and (15)N--(1)H spin-spin coupling constants.
