Zusammenfassung: | A different approach to the theoretical description of the classical theory of Ostwald ripening at liquid phase sintering has been proposed. The model developed in the present approach is based on an equation describing the growth kinetics of the particles, which is different from those used until now. The model developed here accounts automatically for the influence of the initial volume fraction and predicts correctly: the time dependence of rho; at t-->infinity-rho;(3)(t)-rho;(3)(0)=Kt; the form of the distribution function after considerable coarsening time; the experimentally observed values for the relation rho(max)/rho;; and the phenomena of "abnormal growth" at liquid phase sintering |
