| Zusammenfassung: | Leiomyosarcoma of the prostate gland is rare, and only 44 of these neoplasms have been reported in Japan. We experienced a case in a 17-year-man suffering from leiomyosarcoma and lung metastasis. The patient was treated with chemotherapy consisting of cis-platin, etoposide and methotrexate. He improved considerably and was discharged after five months. However the disease recurred in the pelvis and the lungs. The patient was unresponsive to further chemotherapy and died six months later |
