| Zusammenfassung: | Pedal lymphangiography was done on 21 patients with carcinoma of the prostate. The lymphangiograms were positive in 11 cases and negative in 10. Out of 9 patients who underwent lymphadenectomy (5 with positive and 4 with negative findings), operative findings were in agreement with the lymphangiogram in 8 patients (89%). Lymphangiography should be used as the primary procedure in all cases where aggressive therapy is being considered |
