|a Sixteen species of Ichneumonidae (Hymenoptera) are recorded new to Ireland viz. Cremastus pungens Gravenhorst, 1829, Asthenara scabricula (Thomson, 1893), Asthenara socia (Holmgren, 1857), Synoecetes anterior (Thomson, 1893), Enizemum tridentatum Dasch, 1964, Scolomus borealis (Townes, 1971), Gnathochorisis crassula (Thomson, 1888), Megastylus pectoralis (Förster, 1871), Picrostigeus obscurus Horstmann, 1994, Picrostigeus setiger (Brischke, 1871), Plectiscus agilis (Holmgren, 1858), Itoplectis aterrima Jussila, 1965, Ctenochira validicornis (Brischke, 1871), Netelia pallescens (Smiedeknecht, 1910), Phytodietus ornatus Desvignes, 1856 and Polyblastus pallicoxa Thomson, 1888. Records some rare species are also included.
