Zusammenfassung:This paper examines how race relations have changed since Barack Obama was elected to the office of President of the United States. The authors examined media coverage of issues encountered by this president, to see if any of those issues had a racial bias. Results showed that change has come to America in the area of race relations because a black man has ascended to the Presidency, the highest office in the land. On the other hand, commentators are still debating his "blackness" or lack thereof, which indicates race remains a salient issue in society.
