Ibn Rušd, who identifies is it in somewhat puzzling terms, must have worked with corrupt version of al-Fārābī's passage. Already Todros Todrosi, who translated Ibn Rušd into Hebrew in the fourteenth century, tried to emend it. What follows is another attempt at the same.
