Zusammenfassung:The aim was to explore differences in the development of eGFR in persisting prediabetic conditions. This prospective study including 1327 individuals showed that eGFR decreased more in individuals with persisting IGT than in individuals with persisting IFG. Repeating OGTT and monitoring eGFR might improve the risk estimation in prediabetes.
