Zusammenfassung:• One of out five diabetes mellitus inpatients and one of out twenty general inpatients presented diabetic foot. • Diabetic foot inpatient point prevalence is higher in the jungle and coastal region than in highland hospitals. • Nine of out ten hospitalized patients with diabetic foot have peripheral neuropathy and seven of out ten peripheral arterial disease. • Only 36% of diabetic foot sepsis cases were debrided within 48 h of admission.
