Predictors of adherence to physical activity guidelines in patients with diabetes mellitus in the US in 2017: An exploratory analysis

• In diabetes patients, daily smoking and obesity were predictors of adhering to exercise recommendations. • Patients with kidney disease were less likely to comply with physical activity recommendations. • Diabetes patients with poor health perception were less likely to be physically active.
