Impacts of gestational diabetes on quality of life in Chinese pregnant women in urban Tianjin, China

• Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) was associated with reducing general health (GH). • Advanced maternal age was also associated with reducing GH. • Presence of advanced maternal age markedly increased the effect of GDM on GH.
