Variability in the clinical diagnosis of diabetic peripheral neuropathy
• The prevalence of DPN accounts from 13.1% to 68.5% depending on clinical guideline used. • The alteration of vibration and absence of Achilles reflexes were most affected. • We recommend using the IWGDF criteria (monofilament, cotton wisp and tuning fork).
