Will undocumented migrants contribute to change epidemiology, presentation and pharmacologic treatment of diabetes in Western countries?

• Undocumented Migrants show an earlier age of onset of type 2 diabetes. • As a consequence, earlier prevention is advisable. • Kidney involvment is important in this population. This deserves further attention. • These patients should receive more intensive treatment.
