Impaired glucose tolerance predicts all-cause mortality among older men at high risk for cardiovascular disease in China
• In older men, IGT was significantly associated with all-cause mortality. • An increased risk of cardiovascular outcome was observed in older men with IGT. • The findings advanced our knowledge about IGT and its adverse impact on older men.
