Assessing prevalence of and barriers to medication adherence in patients with uncontrolled diabetes attending primary healthcare clinics in Qatar
• Nonadherence in patients with uncontrolled diabetes within primary care setting is high. • Forgetfulness was the most commonly reported barrier to medication adherence. • Effective intervention to improve adherence in this high-risk group are warranted.
