Evaluating FINDRISC as a screening tool for type 2 diabetes among overweight adults in the PREVIEW:NZ cohort

• The FINDRISC ability to predict disglycaemia in overweight New Zealanders was tested. • High FINDRISC is associated with undiagnosed prediabetes/diabetes. • Ethnicity further influences the risk of disglycaemia.
