Health literacy and quality of care of patients with diabetes: A cross-sectional analysis

• Half of included patients with diabetes reported health literacy difficulty. • Lower health literacy did not appear to decrease the receipt of processes of care. • Lower health literacy reduced self-efficacy and SF-12 mental health summary scores.
