Disease related knowledge, medication adherence and glycaemic control among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Pakistan

• We examined inadequate knowledge, poor adherence and suboptimal glycaemic control. • Negative association between study variables requires attention in detail. • Investigating factors affecting glycaemic control among T2DM patients is suggested.
