Translational research for Diabetes Self-Management in Sri Lanka: A randomized controlled trial

• A Diabetes Self-Management (DSM) intervention was tested in Sri Lanka. • The intervention delivered by nurses resulted in a significant impact on glycaemia. • The study has demonstrated the feasibility within existing care arrangements.
