Latent autoimmune diabetes amongst adults with type 2 diabetes in a Nigerian tertiary hospital
• Prevalence of LADA amongst Nigerians clinically diagnosed as type 2 DM was 11.9%. • No phenotypic features were diagnostic in persons with LADA. • GAD antibody testing is important in persons with CT2DM to identify LADA.
