Description
Résumé:Abstract: This paper provides a brief overview of the Eurogame project as a whole, with a more detailed description of the geography and pedagogy aspects of the project. However, the major results of the Eurogame project lie in a series of off-line and on-line prototypes of pedagogical games that have been evaluated in the pilot schools. These games are tailored for use in classrooms , in line with the geography curricula of the targeted age groups in the countries, fully multilingual, and enable collaborative learning. In addition, from a technical point of view ; the games cover a wide variety of aspects : access to databases, manipulation of maps in GIS-format, access to Internet sites, association of multimedia information to a geographical location. Further to the games themselves, additional results and achievements can be described through pedagogical, technical, and commercial areas.
