Warum wird noch immer über die Täterschaft gestritten?" - Dieser Frage geht der Journalist Kellerhoff (zuletzt "Hitlers Berlin", BA 5/05) in seiner gut lesbaren Analyse systematisch auf den Grund: Zunächst beschreibt er den Verlauf des Reichstagsbrandes vom 27./ 28.02.1933, geht dann auf die polizeilichen, kriminaltechnischen Ermittlungen ein, wobei er auch ein differenziertes Bild des Festgenommenen Marinus van der Lubbe zeichnet, berichtet von den sofort einsetzenden Verfolgungen politisch Andersdenkender durch die Nazis und schildert den Prozess, in dem van der Lubbe zum Tode verurteilt wurde. Distanziert untersucht er den jahrzehntelang währenden Streit auch namhafter Historiker um eine mögliche Nazitäterschaft (zuletzt A. Bahar: "Der Reichstagsbrand", ID 10/01) und kommt zu einem klaren Urteil. Mit Quellen- und Literaturverzeichnis. Aktueller, sachlich fundierter Band zum Thema. (2) (Ingrid Kohlmeyer)
