Sich damit auseinanderzusetzen, was von diesem Reservoir für das eigene Politik- und Staatsverständnis nutzbar gemacht werden kann und sollte, gehörte bereits für diese Denker zu ihrem Geschäft. Diese Auseinandersetzung zu verstehen, ist das eigentliche Anliegen dieses Bandes.
