Diabetes medication persistence, different medications have different persistence rates
• Different medications used by diabetic patients have different persistence rates. • Higher persistence to any single medication is associated with higher persistence to other medications. • Lower persistence to any medication is associated with poorer glycemic control and higher LDL levels.
